How do I decide which plan is right for me?
It’s simple. First, decide whether the membership is for your child or for the whole family. Then choose how many books you would like to read in a year—from 24 books to 132 books. You can always upgrade your plan later if your reading needs increase.
Do you offer monthly or short-term plans?
Yes. We offer Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly and Yearly memberships, giving you complete flexibility. However, yearly plans offer the best value with a significantly lower cost per book.
Why is the yearly plan highlighted as the Best Value?
With a yearly membership, your borrowing cost per book reduces significantly compared to shorter-duration plans. It is the most economical option for regular readers and also comes with additional member benefits.
Why do I need to pay upfront for a membership?
Libros operates on a prepaid membership model that ensures uninterrupted access to our library, free home delivery & pickup, and a consistently high-quality reading experience. Paying upfront enables us to maintain a large and diverse collection, manage inventory efficiently, and continue delivering a reliable, premium service to all our members.

Isn't buying books cheaper than a membership?
Not at all. Our membership gives you unlimited monthly exchanges throughout your membership at a fraction of the cost of buying books individually. Paying upfront helps us manage inventory, ensure availability, and provide free home delivery and pickup—making the entire experience seamless, convenient, and affordable.
Why are some plans priced higher than others?
Plans are priced based on the number of books you can borrow during your membership. Higher plans provide more book credits, allowing you to read more while reducing the effective borrowing cost per book. The more you read, the better the value.
What is the meaning of 'Number of Exchanges'?
The number of exchanges represents your book credits. The number of credits available in your plan is the number of books you can borrow during your membership period.
How many books can I keep at a time?
It depends on the membership plan you choose. We have kept it simple—you can borrow 1, 2, 3 or 4 books at a time, depending on your selected plan.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade your membership at any time during your membership period by paying only the applicable difference.
Is Libros worth it if I already own books?
Absolutely. Owning books is significantly more expensive than borrowing them. With Libros, you enjoy access to a constantly growing collection at a much lower cost, along with the convenience of free home delivery and pickup.
Is there any delivery or pickup charge?
No. Delivery and pickup of books are completely free throughout your membership.
How long does it take to deliver books?
Books are typically delivered to your doorstep within 48 hours of placing your order.
Can I pause my membership if I'm travelling or have exams?
Yes. Eligible members can easily pause and resume their membership through the Libros App. Your membership validity is automatically extended by the number of paused days.
Can I cancel my Yearly Membership before it ends?
Yes. There is no long-term commitment. If, for any reason, you wish to discontinue your Yearly Membership, we provide a 100% refund for the remaining unused quarters, as per our refund policy.
Can I request a specific book that's not in the library?
Yes. We continuously expand our collection, but if a book isn't currently available, select membership plans allow you to place a Book Request through the Libros App. Our team reviews these requests and purchases books based on availability and demand.
What is the Joining Fee? Is it an extra charge?
The one-time Joining Fee of ₹149 is charged only when you become a Libros member for the first time. It helps us maintain our book collection, keep books in excellent condition, and support the team that delivers a great reading experience.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. Libros believes in 100% transparent pricing. There are no hidden charges—what you see is exactly what you pay.
What happens if a book is damaged or lost?
Minor wear and tear is a natural part of using books, and we take care of such repairs at no cost to our members. However, if a book is lost or damaged beyond repair, we request members to pay the MRP of the book. Similarly, if you receive a book with noticeable damage, please inform our Customer Delight Team as soon as you receive it so we can assist you promptly.
